FAQS

Answers You Need

WHAT IS YOUR FEE?

Fee rate is $150 for 50 minute individual session.

DO YOU ACCEPT HEALTH INSURANCE?

I am an out of network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. However, many insurance companies offer reimbursement, and I can provide you with a monthly billing statement called a “superbill”  that you can submit for reimbursement.
To find out what might be covered by your insurance, call your insurance company and ask them about 'out-of-network' reimbursement for therapy. Many clients get a significant portion of their fees reimbursed by their insurance companies.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Once an appointment is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it unless you notify me of your need to cancel 48 business hours prior to your scheduled appointment (e.g. for Monday appointments, cancelling by the previous Thursday).  Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee and no refunds will be provided.

DO YOU OFFER TELEHEALTH?

Due to the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic, I am operating through Telehealth services until further notice. Telehealth offers quality care through methods of video-conferencing and phone sessions. It increases the accessibility of care to everyone because sessions can be conducted in the comfort of your own home. Telehealth sessions will still follow the procedures and guidelines of regular in-office visits. This means that standard privacy and confidentiality laws still apply the same to these types of visits. Furthermore, my policies regarding rescheduling and cancellations will also apply the same to all telehealth consultation.

Telehealth Counseling is not for crisis or emergency services.  Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

SEVERE OR ACUTE MENTAL HEALTH CRISES OR SAFETY ISSUES - BIPOLAR DISORDER SYMPTOMS, PSYCHOTIC EPISODES, SUICIDAL THOUGHTS ARE BEST SERVED IN FACE-TO-FACE SETTINGS.

WHAT IS GUT AND PSYCHOLOGY SYNDROME PROTOCOL?

Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride book Gut and Psychology Syndrome Natural Treatment for Autism, Dyslexia, Depression, Dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD, Schizophrenia addresses the connection between nutrition and the brain function.  The Gut and Psychology Syndrome Protocol is a completely natural treatment (Nutrient dense diet and detoxification) that can be implemented at home.  Per Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride, a well-functioning gut with healthy gut flora holds the roots of our health. And, like a tree with sick roots is not going to thrive, the rest of the body cannot thrive without a well-functioning digestive system.  It is exciting to know that we are able to make lifestyle changes that will improve our overall well being.  Call me now to schedule your consultation and work together to help you determine if the Gut and Psychology Syndrome Protocol is right for you.
